Inspired by a speculative future scenario with an immense shortage of resources in the world, this project investigates how new ways of relating to objects, materials and consumer products could emerge in the future. The project consists of a collection of future artifacts related to our most basic needs, designed for the future nomad.

Through the development of our modern society we have lost the sense of relation between our everyday consumer objects and the nature they are made of. The collection of future artifacts suggests how a new aesthetic will rise in a possible imaginative future, as an alternative to our present consumer culture. In our future world humans will have a greater need of understanding and relating to the objects we use, as well as a greater understanding of the relation between objects and nature.
