Bench made from seaweed, designed for the Rundkant exhibition 2118 Girls Ex Machina - a future furniture exhibition.
Inspired by a speculative future scenario 100 years from now, where most of the world will be covered by water, and we therefore will have to grow our materials under the water surface, I have designed this bench made from eelgrass. The project questions how our future world will look like, and how our present consumer habits will affect this future. The project was exhibited at 3 Days Of Design 2018.
