Furniture
Shapes is a collection of tables working as functional sculptures.
Inspired by the strength of archetypal geometrical shapes I have investigated how different geometries and materials affect and speak with each other, and how we encounter and experience this relation.
Focusing on the sculptural qualities of the furniture, as intriguing and interesting objects, Shapes can be interpreted in many different ways.
With this project I was nominated for the nordic design award Formex Nova 2013 - Nordic Designer of the Year. Furthermore I was selected as Greenhouse Talent at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2013 and published in design magazine PLACA DECO.
